Tuition Reimbursement

We believe that learning should never end. That's why we're proud to offer a tuition reimbursement program with EdAssist. Visit bswh.edassist.com to get started. The system is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with live customer support Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. CT. To work with EdAssist, you'll need your employee ID number, which you can find on your paycheck in PeoplePlace.

Annual reimbursement amount tied to degree path

You make it possible to achieve our Mission and Ambition. That’s why we proudly invest in those who want to further their education. In 2017, more than 3,000 employees received over $10 million through our generous tuition reimbursement benefit. Beginning in 2019, we are taking into consideration the type of education our employees are pursuing.

Clinical degree programs provide:
        • Reimbursement up to $5,250 for full-time employees
        • $2,500 for part-time employees

Non-clinical degree programs allow:
        • Reimbursement up to $4,250 for full-time employees
        • $2,000 for part-time employees

    • Clinical degree programs must lead to healthcare professions with direct patient care
    • Non-clinical degree programs are those where you do not work directly with patients
    • Program eligibility is not dependent on job function at the time of reimbursement
New repayment provision
To ensure the program’s long-term success, we’ve also updated the policy to include a new repayment provision for those who leave employment with Baylor Scott & White within 12 months of receiving reimbursement. Any employee who applies for tuition reimbursement on or after Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, will be subject to the new repayment provision.
